Best time slip of the night. Right lane. Traction was an issue. And Pro trees are hard.

Left lane was my buddy's supercharged '14 Mustang pushing around 600hp.

Pretty fun, but I don't see myself going back. $15 is cheap as hell but it was 45 min between passes because of all the people, and road courses are a lot more fun to me

EDIT: I was in a 2011 Mustang GT, stock engine/tranny on street tires. Fully loaded how i drive it every day (aka spare tire, some shit for work, full glovebox/console, didn't adjust PSI at all)

I think what surprises me more is that a 33% power gain only netted a 1 second faster time. Did he have problems hooking up with that power, or did he short shift?

108 through the traps is good for easy mid 12's on drag radials. Careful, it's addictivr!

not bad on the e/t's, R/Ts could be a bit quicker

Good times on your end, I'm not that impressed with a 12.2 time with 600hp, but looking at his trap speed mid-track traction must've been not great.

Your 60' time tells me how bad traction was. 2.3 was the best I could get in my '67 for a 60' on Radial T/As and the best 1/8th mile I managed was a 9.1.

A little practice and tuning and I bet you could break into the 12s, juuuuust barely.

Lots of traction issues. Spinning in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. To the point of having to lift or getting sideways

Yeah, it was a pro tree and I just sucked at it, had a .400 at some point in the night but that was the best I could get

Yeah. I still have my stock wheels/tires, they might partially fund drag radials. Looking at about $600 for the rears

That's more like it, I'd say anything under .45 is good

I was hoping for 12's but it quickly became clear it wasn't happening, so I decided 13.50 0 would be my goal for the night. His 1st gear was useless as was 2 and part of three. A couple runs I out launched him and held him thru second, but once he hit 3 & 4 he was gone

And honestly I was focusing more on trying to get a solid launch with traction than on nailing the tree and spinning

Makes sense, my brother has issues with that in his 13' GT even here at a mile high elevation where its putting out far less power.

Wow, I'd was expecting more out of your buddies with close to 600. No point in all that power if you can't put it down.
